چکیده

Sulfonated sPPFS-b-PBuA diblock and statistical copolymers based on 2,3,4,5,6-pentafluorostyrene PFS butyl acrylate BuA were elaborated for Proton Exchange Membrane Water Electrolyser (PEMWE) purposes. The block (BCP) synthetized by Nitroxide Mediated Polymerization NMP, a controlled radical polymerization technique that yields well-defined molar mass low dispersity material. These diblock-copolymers have the ability to self-assemble due immiscibility of two macromolecular segments PPFS PBuA. Statistical similar chemical composition both NMP in solution free FRP emulsion as waterborne dispersed polymer with highest mass. sulfonated mild click-reaction, namely an organo-catalyzed nucleophilic substitution reaction sodium 3-mercapto-1-propanesulfonate (SMPS) at temperature. morphology diblock-copolymer BCP was studied SAXS AFM, revealing nano-phase-segregated membrane. mechanical properties membranes improved ionic crosslinking polybenzimidazole (PBI-OO). Finally, conductive BCPs investigated function parameters such BCP, mass, sulfonation degree materials.

Giant hexagonal superstructures in diblock-copolymer membranes.

We have observed polymersomes of high genus with their vesicle wall organized on the micrometer scale either in a double bilayer connected by a lattice of passages or a tubular network with hexagonal symmetry. Experimentally found shape classes are identified within a theoretical phase diagram based on the bending energy of the polymer membrane. Pronounced morphological changes could be induced...

Diblock copolymer membranes investigated by single-particle tracking.

We report a study on particle diffusion in membranes formed from polystyrene-block-poly(2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate) (PS-b-PDMAEMA) diblock copolymers. The membranes were investigated by scanning electron microscopy and by single-particle tracking employing carboxy-functionalized polystyrene beads loaded with a fluorophore as spectroscopic probes. From the diffusion trajectories we extr...

Controlled hydrophobic functionalization of natural fibers through self-assembly of amphiphilic diblock copolymer micelles.

The functionalization of natural fibers is an important task that has recently received considerable attention. We investigated the formation of a hydrophobic layer from amphiphilic diblock copolymer micelles [polystyrene-block-poly(N-methyl-4-vinyl pyridinium iodide)] on natural fibers and on a model surface (mica). A series of micelles were prepared. The micelles were characterized by using c...

Self Assembly of Colloidal Gold Nanoparticles on Diblock Copolymer Thin Film Templates

Self-assembly of metallic nanoparticles were investigated for the development of field-enhanced chemical and biological detection devices with the capacity to achieve single-molecule level detection resulting from surface enhanced Raman scattering, associated with closely spaced noble metal nanostructures. Using chemical selfassembly, we attached monodisperse, colloidal gold nanoparticles on se...
